Great British Car Shows Presents: The Rootes Brothers
on August 2nd:
Billy and Reggie Rootes were both elevated to The Peerage for
their massive contribution to the war effort between 1939-1945.
They presided over not just the biggest group of garages in the
UK, but also the Hillman, Humber, Singer and Sunbeam marques.
Rootes Group was a global empire which made so many great cars,
so come and say happy 70th, to the Singer Gazelle.
